DESCRIPTION:Meet with a Vocational Development Specialist to learn more about HUD VASH and opportunities to support you as a service member and / or family of a service member. The in-person representative ca assist with connecting you for program assistance or other VA programs and opportunities. \nHUD-VASH is a collaborative program that pairs HUD’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) rental assistance with VA case management and supportive services. These services are designed to help homeless Veterans and their families obtain permanent housing and access the health care\, mental health treatment\, and other supports necessary to help them improve their quality of life and maintain housing over time. \nAny person with a disability who requires a modification or accommodation in order to participate in these activities should direct such requests to the ADA Coordinator\, at 951.413.3350 at least 72 hours before the activity.
