Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez, the Moreno Valley City Council, and the Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of Raising Cane’s on Monday, August 15, 2022.
Mayor Gutierrez and the City Council officially cut the ribbon to welcome the popular fast-casual restaurant, the newest addition to Moreno Valley’s growing lineup of exciting dining options.
“I am honored to welcome Raising Cane’s to the Moreno Valley community,” said Mayor Gutierrez. “As a Raising Cane’s fan, I can’t wait to enjoy their famous chicken fingers, french fries, and Texas toast. I’m confident they will fit right in with our dynamic City.”
The Moreno Valley Raising Cane’s is the 73rd location to open in California. The restaurant is nicknamed “Top Gun” as an homage to March Air Reserve Base. The site boasts a two-lane drive-thru and over 3,100 square feet of operating space.
Raising Cane’s is among the most popular fast-casual restaurants in the nation, and will be yet another dependable source of local employment, with over 160 jobs added at this location. Revenue from businesses like Raising Cane’s will lead to more significant public safety and community services funding.
In a show of goodwill to the community, Raising Cane’s has also donated $1,000 to Moreno Valley’s Parks & Community Services Department.
Raising Cane’s is the newest business to open in Moreno Valley, joining the ranks of Sprouts Farmers Market, Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, Orleans & York, and many others.
Raising Cane’s is located at 12625 Frederick Street, Suite T-1, in the Towngate Shopping Center.
